Quiet Studio at Residence Thunovska

The Alexandra Apartment is a beautiful sunny studio located just below Prague Castle. Just steps from the castle and Charles Bridge it makes for an ideal starting point to explore the sights.

For us, it's hard not to "talk up" the location and appeal of this little apartment.

The Alexandra is part of a restored residence that dates from the 16th century. Inside, the owner has chosen to keep the building's original structure and character while adding a few luxurious touches.

The apartment includes a comfy bed, small kitchenette with stove top and cooking utensils for making small meals.

Inside you will find that there is enough comfort to fully enjoy a few days. The bathroom has an standing shower, bidet and toilet. So, you get the comforts of a hotel double room with the space and function of an apartment.

The residence is easy to find and a great place to start your walk - wherever you plan to go. And, public transportation is very close as well. The street outside is more of a lane with virtually no car traffic at all.

You can be at the castle or Charles Bridge in 5 minutes and Old Town is just about 10 minutes away. You can also take wonderful walks through nearby Petřín Park, visit Strahov Monastery or the unique Loretta - along with many other Prague sights.

This is one of our favorite areas to explore. Malá Strana has such a nice peaceful side to it. It's pleasant just to wander the little streets because there is very little car traffic in the area and so many cute spots to photograph. Plus, the crowds of Old Town are far away if you just take a couple of turns from the apartment.
