In the Neighborhood

The Charles is located at Plaská 10, Mala Strana. Its neighborhood is rich in sights, restaurants and cafes. Here's a list of what you will within a few steps of the apartment.

Cafes: right next door there is a small cozy cafe. They have beer, wine and snacks. They also have film screenings from time to time. They even have free WiFi and a computer terminal as well. There's another cafe/restaurant just across the street from the apartment. They have a full menu.

Restaurants: there are countless restaurants near the apartment - to many to list here. For tasty Czech meals choose between Stará Praha and Olympia, both just around the corner. You can also find Thai, Mediterranean, Mexican and French cuisines nearby.

Grocery: at the end of the street (about 100 feet) there is a small grocery store. It has everything you'll need for shorter stays. There's a larger store about 5 minutes away by tram.

Sights: there are many sights within walking distance of the apartment. Check out this map to the apartment and you can see how well located the apartment is.

Public Transport: there are two tram stops near the apartment. They are both called Ujezd. It's one of the best stops in the city. From here you can access nearly all points. The trams are great if you don't feel like walking or for a cheap tour of the city. The #22 in particular is a great tour tram. It crosses the city and hits many attractions including Prague Castle

.

From the apartment you can easily enjoy a variety of nice parks. This one in the background is the larges green space in central Prague, known as Petřin.

Other places to explore nearby include Kampa park and the fantastic island of Střelecký Ostrov.
